Celebrities That Would Be Great For The Masked Singer Part 1
Hello everyone!
As some of you might have seen on my Instagram Story recently, The Masked Singer is going to start taping Season 14 on October 13!
As a result, I have no shows to write about right now, so I have had to get creative with what I write about.
As you probably remember, I have written about celebrities that would be great for the show, and I was working off of a massive list that I created, and some of the names on the list and celebrities I wrote about ended up being on the show.
Unfortunately, I went a bit out of control with the list, and wrote too many names on it, many of which I knew would never be on the show, so I have since decided to rein things back in and create a new list that features both names that I have written about and names that I have not written about. I feel that doing so has kept my passion for the show alive.
In the past, I have typically kept it to three celebrities in a post, but for this one, I just want to share all the names I have come up with, so I will be sharing the names and some brief explanations of who they are and why they would be great for the show. I might write about celebrities in the same way that I have in the past, but I’m not sure yet.
Also, as I was writing, it never occurred to me just how long my list was, so I am going to just include the celebrities in the first half of my list, and Part 2 will come next week.
So anyway, here is Part 1 of my list of celebrities that would be perfect for the show!
Sutton Foster - Broadway star who has been on a few other game shows, would be great at representing Broadway on the show.
Tituss Burgess - actor and singer known for starring in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and his many Broadway credits, would also be a great Broadway star to have on the show.
Jack McBrayer - actor and comedian known for starring in 30 Rock, was in a production of Waitress, and I just feel that he would be a ton of fun on the show.

Matthew Morrison - actor and singer known for starring in Glee and many musical theatre productions, has been on a few game shows, is technically part of the Fox Family, and is going on tour next year, so doing the show would be a great way for him to get himself back in the spotlight and promote his tour.

Amanda Seales - actress and comedian who has been on many other game shows and even done some singing in the past, which I feel qualifies her for the show.
Marilu Henner - star of the old sitcom Taxi who also has some musical theatre credits, so I feel she would be perfect from the perspective of a nostalgic TV star and an actress some people might not know has done some singing.

Wayne Knight - actor, voice actor, and comedian known for playing Newman on Seinfeld, recently made appearances on game shows, I feel he has a fun enough personality to be memorable on the show, and his voice is so distinctive that it would be interesting to see how long it would take the panelists to recognize it.
Ty Dolla $ign - rapper who has been on another game show already, and with how few rappers the show had before Season 13, they really need to make up for it.
Taran Killam - actor and comedian from Saturday Night Live who has also started to become a Broadway star, so being on the show could let even more people know what a great singer he is.

Rachel Platten - singer known for the song Fight Song, and with the show having a lot of contestants that are singers primarily known for one song or were popular in a particular decade, which is a category that she falls under, and her being on I Can See Your Voice, I hope that it increases her chances of being on the show, because she is a great singer.

Tia Carrere - actress and singer who has been on a few game shows, and it would also be perfect timing for her, as she was recently in the live action Lilo & Stitch remake, and she could show off her singing talent during this resurgence of popularity, much like Elaine Hendrix on Dancing with the Stars right now.

Willa Ford - former singer who competed on Dancing with the Stars, could also use the show in the same way as Ashley Parker Angel, as returning to the world of music for just the show. And you can actually ignore everything I just said here because I went to her Instagram a little after writing this, and it turns out she is releasing some new music for the first time in years in October, so now I am going to say that being on the show would be a great way to promote that.
