Three More Celebrities That Are Perfect For The Show
I have come up with three more celebrities that would be perfect for The Masked Singer! As always, I hope that you agree with who I think should do the show and why they would be great for it.
The first celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is Broadway star Christopher Jackson. The show has only had one celebrity known for their work on Broadway as a contestant with Cheyenne Jackson in Season 7, and I feel that he would be a great addition to this category. He also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as he has been nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards with one win, nominated for a Tony Award, and won a Grammy Award. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he appeared in an episode of the show “Nurse Jackie,” appeared in an episode of the show “White Collar,” provided the singing voice for a character in “Moana,” voiced a character in two episodes of the show “The Lion Guard,” voiced a character in an episode of the show “Vampirina,” appeared in the movie “In the Heights,” was a guest voice in an episode of “Robot Chicken,” appeared in the movie “tick, tick… BOOM!,” appeared in the movie “Space Oddity,” voiced a character in five episodes of the show “Central Park,” appeared in the movie “World’s Best,” appeared in fourteen episodes of the show “And Just Like That…,” has performed at several award shows, performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade one year, was on an episode of “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore,” appeared in an episode of the show “Drunk History,” was on an episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” was on two episodes of “Rachael Ray,” was on three episodes of “Today,” was on an episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” was part of A Capitol Fourth one year, was on five episodes of “Live with Kelly & Ryan,” was on an episode of “The Talk,” was on an episode of “Let’s Make a Deal Primetime,” was on an episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” was on an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” was on an episode of “Beat Bobby Flay,” and was on two episodes of “Whose Line Is It Anyway.” He also has experience starring in fun shows on Broadway, as he was in “The Lion King” for a while, starred in “In the Heights,” and starred in “Hamilton.” He also has experience working with Fox, as he appeared in an episode of the show “Fringe,” which could increase his chances of being a contestant. He also has a great singing voice that is perfect for many songs, and if he picks the right ones, he will go far in the show. I can see him going for songs like “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers, “When A Man Loves A Woman” by Percy Sledge, and “Sittin’ On The Dock Of The Bay” by Otis Redding.
The second celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is actor Wilson Cruz. The show has done a great job at highlighting celebrities that you might not know have experience singing, and I feel that he would be a great addition to this category. He also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as he has been nominated for a Saturn Award, won an ALMA Award, won an award at the TeaDance Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, won an award at the GLAAD Media Awards, and has been nominated for three other awards. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he starred in the show “My So-Called Life,” appeared in an episode of the show “Sister, Sister,” appeared in the movie “Joyride,” appeared in the movie “Bam Bam and Celeste,” appeared in an episode of the show “Monk,” appeared in an episode of the show “Related,” appeared in eight episodes of the show “Noah’s Arc,” appeared in the movie “He’s Just Not That Into You,” voiced characters in the show “Rick & Steve the Happiest Gay Couple in All the World,” appeared in an episode of the show “Pushing Daisies,” appeared in two episodes of the show “Single Ladies,” appeared in two episodes of the show “The Finder,” appeared in the movie “The People I’ve Slept With,” appeared in nine episodes of the show “Red Band Society,” appeared in two episodes of the show “Heartbeat,” appeared in an episode of the show “Shameless,” voiced a character in five episodes of the show “The Casagrandes,” voiced a character in an episode of the show “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,” appeared in the movie “Mother of the Bride,” starred in the show “Star Trek: Discovery,” voiced a character in fourteen episodes of the show “The Bravest Knight,” was on an episode of “Vanderpump Rules,” was on an episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” was on two episodes of “The Talk,” was on an episode of “Live with Kelly & Ryan,” was on the podcast “Hi Jinkx with Jinkx Monsoon,” was on 26 episodes of the game show “25 Words or Less,” and was a contestant on an episode of “Celebrity Family Feud.” He also has Broadway experience, as he starred in “Rent” for a while, and starred in an touring production of “Tick, Tick… BOOM!” He also has experience working with Fox, as he appeared in an episode of the show “Ally McBeal,” appeared in eleven episodes of the show “Party of Five,” and was a guest voice in an episode of "American Dad,” which could increase his chances of being a contestant. He also has a great singing voice that is perfect for a variety of songs, and if he picks the right ones, he could go far in the show. I can see him going for songs like “Home” by Michael Buble, “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon & Garfunkel, and “Wild World” by Cat Stevens.
The third celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is Melody Thornton from The Pussycat Dolls. The show has already had several members of boy bands and girl groups as contestants in past seasons, and I feel that she would be a perfect addition to this category. She also has several accolades that the show loves to have, as she has a Platinum album, four Platinum singles, and she has been nominated for three American Music Awards, nominated for two Billboard Music Awards, nominated for seven MTV Video Music Awards, nominated for a Teen Choice Award, and nominated for a Grammy Award. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she appeared in the movie “Be Cool,” appeared in the movie “Holiday Twist,” was on an episode of “The View,” was on an episode of the show “Strictly Come Dancing,” was on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” starred in the reality show “Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious,” has been a guest at several award shows, was a guest performer on an episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” was on an episode of the show “Fashion Police,” was on an episode of the show “Dance Moms,” was on Season 2 of the show “Celebs Go Dating,” was on Season 2 of the show “Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls,” and was a contestant on the show “Dancing on Ice.” She also has musical experience, as she starred in productions of “The Bodyguard” and “Cinderella.” She also has experience being part of The Masked Singer, as she was a contestant on both the Australian and UK versions of the show, which makes it even more likely that she will be a contestant on the American version. She also has a singing voice that is perfect for a variety of songs, and if she picks the right ones, I am sure that she will go far in the competition. I can see her going for songs like “Break My Heart” by Dua Lipa, “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer, and “Tell It To My Heart” by Taylor Dayne. When she gets unmasked, it would be great to hear her sing her song “Don’t Cha.”
I hope you all enjoyed reading this blog post, and I’ll see you all next week with the premiere of Season 13!
