Three Celebrities That Should Be On The Show
I have come up with three more celebrities that I feel would be perfect for The Masked Singer! As always, I hope that you agree with who I think should do the show and why they would be great for it.
The first celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is former Spice Girl Mel B. As I have said before, the show has had many members of boy bands and girl groups as well as entire boy bands and entire girl groups as contestants, so I think she would be perfect to represent this category. She also has several accolades that the show loves to have, as she has been nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards with one win, five Billboard Music Award wins, three American Music Award wins, nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award, and she has two Platinum albums, four gold singles, and one Platinum single. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she starred in the movie “Spice World,” appeared in the movie “Killing Hasselhoff,” was a musical guest on an episode of “Saturday Night Live,” was a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars,” was on an episode of “The Wendy Williams Show,” was on an episode of the show “Deal With It,” was on an episode of “The Eric Andre Show,” was on an episode of “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” was on six episodes of the game show “Celebrity Name Game,” was a guest judge on two episodes of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” was on three episodes of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” was a guest judge on an episode of “Project Runway,” was on an episode of the show “Fameless,” was a contestant on an episode of the show “Cupcake Wars,” was on an episode of the show “Running Wild with Bear Grylls,” was a judge on several versions of “The X Factor,” was on an episode of the show “Hollywood Medium,” was on three episodes of “Hollywood Game Night,” has been on several talk shows, appeared in the TV movie “Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas,” was on an episode of the show “Drop the Mic,” was on eleven episodes of the show “The Real,” and was a judge on “America’s Got Talent.” She also has Broadway experience, as she starred in productions of “Rent” and “Chicago.” She also has experience working with Fox, as she was a contestant on an episode of “Celebrity Name That Tune” and was a contestant on the show “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” which could increase her chances of being on the show. She was also a contestant on the UK version of the show, a panelist on the Australian version of the show, and one of the panelists guessed her to be The Butterfly in Season 2, which makes it even more likely that she will be a contestant. She also has a singing voice that is perfect for many pop songs, and if she picks the right ones, she could be on the show for a while. I can see her going for songs like “Lovefool” by The Cardigans, “Venus” by Bananarama, and “I Want Candy” by Bow Wow Wow. When she gets unmasked, it would be great to hear her sing her song “Wannabe.”
The second celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is R&B singer Monica. The show has already had a lot of great female R&B singers as contestants, like Kandi Burruss and Keyshia Cole, and I feel that she would be a great addition to the category. She also has several accolades that the show loves to have, as she has two gold albums, two Platinum albums, one gold single, six Platinum singles, and she has been nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards, one American Music Award, eleven Soul Train Music Awards with one win, five Billboard Music Awards with one win, and five Grammy Awards with one win. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she appeared in the movie “Boys and Girls,” appeared in the movie “ATL,” appeared in the movie “Almost Christmas,” was part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade one year, was a musical guest on three episodes of the Nickelodeon show “All That,” was a panelist on five episodes of the game show “Hollywood Squares,” was on two episodes of the mini-series “I Love the 80s,” was an adviser on an episode of “The Voice,” has been a guest on several talk shows, was on six episodes of the show “The Real,” was on four episodes of “The Wendy Williams Show,” was a contestant on an episode of the game show “Celebrity Game Face,” was a contestant on an episode of “Celebrity Family Feud,” and was on an episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” She also has experience working with Fox, as she appeared in an episode of the show “Living Single,” appeared in two episodes of “90210,” appeared in an episode of the show “Star,” and was a guest judge in two episodes of “American Juniors,” which could increase her chances of being on the show. She has also been guessed before, as the panelists guessed her to be Night Angel in Season 3, Black Swan in Season 5, Pufferfish in Season 6, Firefly in Season 7, one of the Queen Cobras in Season 7, and Candelabra in Season 10, which makes it even more likely that she will be a contestant. She also has a great singing voice, as the website Singing Carrots says that she has a unique and powerful voice that is rich and soulful, the ability to switch between her chest voice and head voice, and strong breath support and impeccable control over her vibrato. With these vocal qualities and the right song choice, she could go far in the show. I can see her going for songs like “Family Affair” by Mary J. Blige, “No Scrubs” by TLC, and “No One” by Alicia Keys. When she gets unmasked, it would be great to hear her sing her song “The Boy Is Mine.”
The third celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is Tom Higgenson from Plain White T’s. The show has only had one rock singer from the 2000s as a contestant with Chris Daughtry in Season 2, so I feel that he would be perfect to represent this category. He also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as he has two gold albums, one gold single, three Platinum singles, was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award, nominated for an American Music Award, won a Teen Choice Award, was nominated for a Tony Award, and was nominated for two Grammy Awards. He also has experience taking part in fun shows, as he appeared in an episode of the show “iCarly,” was on two episodes of the mini-series “I Love the New Millennium,” was on an episode of the show “Live from Daryl’s House,” was in six episodes of the show “Greek,” has been a musical guest on several talk shows, was on an episode of “The Bonnie Hunt Show,” was on an episode of “Lopez Tonight,” was on two episodes of “Big Morning Buzz Live,” performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade one year, performed on an episode of the show “The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart,” and performed on the CNN special “The Fourth in America” one year. All these fun shows that he has been part of could increase his chances of being a contestant. He also has a great singing voice, as the website Singing Carrots says that he is known for singing in a falsetto voice, so with these vocal qualities and the right song choice, he could be on the show for a while. I can see him going for songs like “Dirty Little Secret” by All American Rejects, “Animal” by Neon Trees, and “The Middle” by Jimmy Eat World. When he gets unmasked, it would be great to hear him sing his song “Hey There Delilah.”
I hope you all enjoyed reading this blog post, and I’ll see you all soon with three more celebrities!
