Three Celebrities Perfect For The Show
I have come up with three more celebrities that would be perfect for The Masked Singer! As always, I hope that you agree with who I think should do the show and why they would be great for it.
The first celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is Grace VanderWaal. The show has already had one past contestant from “America’s Got Talent “ as a contestant with Jackie Evancho, and I feel that she would be perfect to represent this category. She also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as she won a Teen Choice Award, was nominated for two Radio Disney Music Awards with one win, and was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she was a contestant on and won “America’s Got Talent,” starred in the movie “Stargirl,” starred in the movie “Hollywood Stargirl,” appeared in the movie “Megalopolis,” was on an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” was a performer at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade one year, was a musical guest on an episode of “The Wendy Williams Show,” was a musical guest on an episode of “The Talk,” was a performer at the Radio Disney Music Awards one year, was on an episode of the show “Treehouse Masters,” was on three episodes of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” was a musical guest on an episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” was a musical guest on three episodes of “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” was a musical guest on two episodes of “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” was a performer at the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade one year, was a musical guest on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” was on two episodes of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” and was on an episode of the show “Earth to Ned.” All these fun shows and movies that she has been part of could increase her chances of being a contestant. She also has a great singing voice, as the website Singing Carrots says that she has gentle yet powerful vocals, uses a lot of head voice in her singing to give her voice a light and airy quality, and uses vibrato in her singing. With these vocal qualities and the right song choice, I feel that she could go far in the show, and perhaps even to the finale. I can see her going for songs like “What Was I Made For” by Billie Eilish, “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves, and “Boyfriend” by Dove Cameron.
The second celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is soft rock duo Air Supply. The show has already had several groups as contestants, most of which were boy bands and girl groups from the 90s, and I feel that it would be great for them to have an older rock duo as contestants. They also have several accolades that the show loves to have, as they have one gold album, four Platinum albums, three gold singles, they have been nominated for three music awards in their home country of Australia with two wins, and they have won an American Music Award. They also have experience taking part in fun shows, as they were on an episode of “The Paul Hogan Show,” were part of the American Music Awards twice, were part of Walt Disney World’s 15th Anniversary Celebration, were on two episodes of “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” were on an episode of “Live with Regis and Kelly,” were on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” were on an episode of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and were on an episode of “The Bachelor.” They also have experience working with Fox, as they were on an episode of the game show “Don’t Forget the Lyrics,” which could increase their chances of being contestants. They also have great singing voices, as the website Singing Carrots says that they are known for their vocal harmonies, their use of vibrato, and high-pitched vocals. With these vocal qualities and the right song choice, they could go far in the show. I can see them going for songs like “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues” by Elton John, “Hungry Eyes” by Eric Carmen, and “Who’s Crying Now” by Journey. When they get unmasked, it would be great to hear them sing their song “All Out Of Love.”
The third celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is Aubrey O’Day from the group Danity Kane. She got her start the same way as past contestant Ashley Parker Angel, as they were both the subjects of the reality show “Making the Band,” which I feel makes her perfect for the show. She also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as she has a gold album, a Platinum album, a gold single, a Platinum single, has been nominated for a Soul Train Music Award, nominated for a BET Award, nominated for a Teen Choice Award, nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards, and they also won a Guinness World Record for being the first female group in Billboard history to debut their first two albums at the top of the charts. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she appeared in the movie “American High School,” got her start on the show “Making the Band,” was on an episode of the show “106 & Park,” was on an episode of “Live With Regis & Kelly,” was a guest at a few award shows, was on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” was on an episode of “Chelsea Lately,” was on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” was on an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” was on an episode of the show “Fashion Police,” was on two episodes of “The Wendy Williams Show,” was a contestant on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” was a guest judge on an episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” was on an episode of Bethenny Frankel’s talk show, was part of the Hollywood Christmas Parade one year, was on four episodes of the show “Dance Moms,” was a contestant on “Celebrity Big Brother,” was a contestant on two seasons of the show “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars,” was a contestant on the show “Ex on the Beach,” and was on an episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” She also has Broadway experience, as she played Amber Von Tussle in “Hairspray” for a while. All these fun shows and movies that she has been part of could increase her chances of being a contestant. She also has a great singing voice that is perfect for many R&B songs, and if she picks the right ones, she could be on the show for a while. I can see her going for songs like “No Scrubs” by TLC, “Family Affair” by Mary J. Blige, and “Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!),” by Blu Cantrell. When she gets unmasked, it would be great to hear her sing her song “Damaged.”
I hope you all enjoyed reading this blog post, and I’ll see you all soon with three more celebrities!
