Three More Celebrities Perfect For The Show

I have come up with three more celebrities that would be perfect for The Masked Singer! As always, I hope that you agree with who I think should do the show and why they would be great for it.

The first celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is actor and comedian Steven Weber. The show has done a great job at showcasing actors that you didn’t know could sing and have been on Broadway like Mario Cantone and Lou Diamond Philips, and I feel that he would be a great addition to this category. He also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as he has won a Saturn Award, a TV Land Award, and an OFTA Television Award. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he appeared in an episode of the show “The Pursuit of Happiness,” voiced characters in the show “Duckman,” starred in the show “Wings,” voiced a character in an episode of the “Jumanji” animated series, voiced a character in “All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series,” voiced a character in two episodes of the “Hercules” animated series, voiced a character in an episode of the show “The Legend of Tarzan,” voiced characters in five episodes of the show “Fillmore,” voiced a character in an episode of “Higglytown Heroes,” appeared in the TV movie “Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical,” appeared in two episodes of “Will & Grace,” appeared in an episode of the show “Monk,” starred in the show “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” appeared in an episode of the show “Psych,” appeared in an episode of “Desperate Housewives,” appeared in an episode of the show “Party Down,” appeared in an episode of the show “Parenthood,” starred in “A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner,” appeared in two episodes of the show “Hot in Cleveland,” appeared in an episode of the show “Children’s Hospital,” voiced a character in an episode of “Regular Show,” appeared in an episode of the show “Bad Teacher,” appeared in an episode of “Community,” appeared in three episodes of “2 Broke Girls,” appeared in eleven episodes of the show “iZombie,” has voiced Alfred Pennyworth in several animated Batman movies and shows, voiced characters in 28 episodes of “Ultimate Spider Man,” appeared in an episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” appeared in five episodes of the show “Mom,” appeared in two episodes of the show “Drunk History,” voiced a character in four episodes of the show “The Bravest Knight,” appeared in eight episodes of the show “Ballers,” starred in the show “Indebted,” voiced characters in fourteen episodes of the show “Puppy Dog Pals,” has been a guest on several talk shows, was on an episode of the game show “Win Ben Stein’s Money,” was on an episode of “Million Dollar Password,” was on an episode of the show “Celebrity Liar,” was on an episode of “The Real,” was on an episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” was a contestant on twelve episodes of “25 Words or Less,” was on an episode of “Home & Family,” was a guest on Gilbert Gottfried’s podcast, was on an episode of the podcast “Hey Dude… The 90s Called,” and was a contestant on “Celebrity Jeopardy.” He also has experience with being in musicals, as he played Leo Bloom in “The Producers” on Broadway for a while, and he played Bill Austin in a Hollywood Bowl production of “Mamma Mia.” He also has experience working with Fox, as he voiced a character in an episode of “The Simpsons,” voiced a character in an episode of “American Dad,” and appeared in an episode of the show “Sleepy Hollow,” which could increase his chances of being a contestant. He also has a singing voice that I feel is perfect for many old songs, and if he picks the right ones, he could be on the show for a while. I can see him going for songs like “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond, “Hooked on a Feeling” by BJ Thomas, and “Wild World” by Cat Stevens.

The second celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is Corey Glover from Living Colour. As I have said several times, the show has had very few rock singers as contestants, and I feel that he would be the perfect singer to represent the genre. He also has several accolades that the show loves to have, as he has an album that is certified gold, an album that is certified Platinum, has won three MTV Video Music Awards, and has been nominated for four Grammy Awards with two wins. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he appeared in the movie “Platoon,” has hosted various shows on VH1, was a musical guest on “The Arsenio Hall Show,” was a musical guest on an episode of “Saturday Night Live,” was at the MTV Video Music Awards twice, was on two episodes of “Showtime at the Apollo,” was a musical guest on an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” was on an episode of “Last Call with Carson Daly,” was a musical guest on an episode of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” was a musical guest on four episodes of “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” and was a guest on the podcast “Fat Man Beyond.” He also has experience with being in musicals, as he played the part of Judas in a touring production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” All these fun shows and movies that he has been a part of could increase his chances of being a contestant. He also has a great singing voice, as the website Singing Carrots says that he is known for his powerful and soulful vocals that incorporate a wide range of techniques such as growling, screaming, and falsetto. With these vocal qualities and the right song choice, he could be on the show for a while. I can see him going for songs like “Fly Away” by Lenny Kravitz, “Heat of the Moment” by Asia, and “Hot in the City” by Billy Idol. When he gets unmasked, it would be great to hear him sing his song “Cult of Personality.”

The third celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is actress, comedian, and singer Andrea Martin. I feel that she has much in common with previous contestant Ana Gasteyer, as she rose to fame through her work in sketch comedy, is a great singer, and has been on Broadway many times, which I feel makes her the perfect contestant for the show. She also has several accolades that the show loves to have, as she has been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award, nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award, nominated for ten Primetime Emmy Awards with two wins, and has been nominated for six Tony Awards with two wins. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she is best known for being a cast member on the show “SCTV,” appeared in the “Sesame Street” TV movie “Put Down the Duckie,” voiced a character in an episode of the show “Darkwing Duck,” voiced a character in an episode of the show “Goof Troop,” voiced a character in the TV movie “Frosty Returns,” voiced a character in the TV movie “David Copperfield,” voiced characters in three episodes of the show “Bobby’s World,” voiced characters in two episodes of the show “Duckman,” voiced a character in an episode of the show “Freakazoid,” voiced characters in twelve episodes of the show “Earthworm Jim,” voiced characters in an episode of the show “CatDog,” voiced a character in an episode of “The Wild Thornberrys,” voiced characters in six episodes of the “Hercules” animated series, voiced Martha in the animated series “George and Martha,” starred in the movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and its sequels, voiced a character in seven episodes of the show “Rugrats,” voiced a character in “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius,” voiced a character in an episode of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” appeared in 36 episodes of “Sesame Street,” appeared in an episode of “30 Rock,” appeared in the movie “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb,” appeared in an episode of “The Jack and Triumph Show,” appeared in an episode of “Modern Family,” starred in the NBC production of “Hairspray,” appeared in an episode of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” starred in the show “Difficult People,” starred in the show “Great News,” appeared in an episode of “Will & Grace,” voiced a character in three episodes of the show “Elena of Avalor,” voiced a character in five episodes of the show “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” appeared in five episodes of “Only Murders in the Building,” voiced a character in two episodes of “The Patrick Star Show,” has been a guest on several talk shows, has been at the Tony Awards several times, was a guest on Gilbert Gottfried’s podcast, was a panelist on five episodes of “Hollywood Squares,” was on an episode of “Celebrity Poker Showdown,” and was a guest on an episode of the game show “Would I Lie to You.” She also has a ton of Broadway experience, as she has been in musicals like “My Favorite Year,” “Candide,” “Oklahoma,” “Young Frankenstein,” and “Pippin.” She also has experience working with Fox, as she was on an episode of “Mad TV,” which could increase her chances of being a contestant. She also has a great singing voice for many old songs, and if she picks the right ones, she could be on the show for a while. I can see her going for songs like “Fever” by Peggy Lee, “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” by Marilyn Monroe, and “At Last” by Etta James.
