Three Celebrities Perfect For The Masked Singer

I have come up with three more celebrities that I feel would be perfect for The Masked Singer! As always, I hope that you agree with who I think should do the show and why they would be great for it.

The first celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is actor James Van Der Beek. The show has had many celebrities that you didn’t know could sing as contestants, like Bobby Berk and Scott Porter, and I feel that he would be a great addition to the category. He also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as he has been nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award, won two MTV Movie Awards, and has been nominated for three Teen Choice Awards with one win. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he appeared in an episode of the show “Clarissa Explains It All,” appeared in an episode of the show “Aliens in the Family,” starred in the movie “Varsity Blues,” was on an episode of “Saturday Night Live,” appeared in “Scary Movie,” appeared in the movie “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” appeared in the movie “Standing Still,” voiced characters in two episodes of the show “Robot Chicken,” appeared in an episode of the show “Ugly Betty,” starred in the movie “Mrs. Miracle,” appeared in two online shorts called “Asshole for Hire” and “DILF Khakis,” appeared in the music video for the Kesha song “Blow,” appeared in an episode of the show “Franklin & Bash,” starred in the show “Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23,” appeared in three episodes of “How I Met Your Mother,” starred in the show “Friends with Better Lives,” appeared in two episodes of the show “Carters Get Rich,” appeared in an episode of the show “Room 104,” starred in the show “What Would Diplo Do,” appeared in an episode of “Modern Family,” appeared in the movie “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot,” voiced a character in the show “Vampirina,” appeared in an episode of the show “Walker,” has been a guest at several award shows and talk shows, was on an episode of “The Eric Andre Show,” was on two episodes of “The Soup,” was on two episodes of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” was on an episode of the show “Drop the Mic,” was on an episode of “The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale,” was a celebrity player on an episode of “The $100,000 Pyramid,” was a panelist on four episodes of “Match Game,” was on five episodes of “The Wendy Williams Show,” was on six episodes of “25 Words or Less,” was on an episode of the show “Fast Foodies,” and was a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars.” He also has experience working with Fox, as he appeared on an episode of “We Are Family,” and is going to be on an upcoming special called “The Real Full Monty,” which could increase his chances of being on the show. He has also been guessed before, as Robin guessed him to be The Gumball in Season 11, which makes it even more likely that he will be a contestant. He also has a great singing voice for many country songs, and if he picks the right ones, he could be on the show for a while. I can see him going for songs like “Life Is a Highway” by Tom Cochrane, “I Am, I Said” by Neil Diamond, and “Learning to Fly” by Tom Petty.

The next celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is Brian McKnight. The show has had many male R&B singers over the seasons like Tyrese Gibson and Ginuwine, and I feel that he would be a great singer to add to this category. He also has several accolades that the show loves to have, as he has three albums that are certified gold, three albums that are certified Platinum, a single that is certified Platinum, has been nominated for an American Music Award, nominated for a BET Award, nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards, nominated for three NAACP Image Awards with one win, nominated for four Soul Train Music Awards with one win, and nominated for sixteen Grammy Awards. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he appeared in three episodes of “Sister, Sister,” appeared in the movie “The Beat,” appeared in the movie “Black Dynamite,” appeared in an episode of “Funny or Die Presents,” appeared in the movie “Note to Self,” appeared in the TV movie “A Country Christmas Story,” appeared in the movie “Sandy Wexler,” appeared in the movie “Naked,” appeared in an episode of the show “Grown Folks,” appeared in an episode of the show “Atlanta,” has been a guest at several award shows and talk shows, appeared in an episode of “The Steve Harvey Show,” was a panelist on five episodes of “Hollywood Squares,” was on four episodes of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” appeared in an episode of the show “My Wife and Kids,” was a guest judge on an episode of the show “Star Search,” was on an episode of “The New Tom Green Show,” was on an episode of “MTV Cribs,” was a celebrity contestant on an episode of “Pyramid,” appeared in an episode of “The Chris Isaak Show,” was at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade one year, was on an episode of “America’s Got Talent,” was a contestant on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” hosted his own talk show for a while, was on an episode of “The Eric Andre Show,” was on an episode of “Shark Tank,” was a celebrity player on three episodes of “Celebrity Name Game,” was a musical guest on an episode of “Home & Family,” was on an episode of “Honest Trailers,” was on an episode of “The Real,” was on an episode of “American Idol,” and was a musical guest on Nick Cannon’s talk show. He also has Broadway experience, as he played Billy Flynn in “Chicago” for a while. He also has experience working with Fox, as he appeared in an episode of the show “Living Single,” appeared in two episodes of the show “Martin,” appeared in an episode of “Beverly Hills, 90210,” was on an episode of “Mad TV,” was a guest judge on two episodes of the show “American Juniors,” was on an episode of the show “Celebrity Duets,” and was a contestant on “The Masked Dancer,” which could increase his chances of being on the show. He has also been guessed before, as the panelists guessed him to be The Serpent in Season 4 and The Husky in Season 10, which makes it even more likely that he will be a contestant. He also has a great singing voice, as the website Singing Carrots says that he is known for his impressive falsetto, the fluidity and ease with which he transitions between different registers, and offering a great range of styles, from smooth ballads to up-tempo soul numbers. With these vocal qualities and the right song choice, I’m sure that he will go far in the show. I can see him going for songs like “I Swear” by All-4-One, “I’ll Make Love to You” by Boyz II Men, and “Ordinary People” by John Legend. When he gets unmasked, it would be great to hear him sing his song “Back at One.”

The third celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is actress and singer Jamie Lynn Spears. The show has only had one celebrity who got their start at Nickelodeon as a contestant, which was Melissa Joan Hart, and I feel that she would be a great addition to this category. She also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as she has an EP that landed high on the Heatseekers Charts, a single that landed high on the Country Charts, has been nominated for four Kids’ Choice Awards with one win, was nominated for a Teen Choice Award, and was nominated for seven Young Artist Awards with two wins. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she got her start as a cast member on the show “All That,” appeared in an episode of the Nickelodeon show “Just Jordan,” appeared in an episode of the show “Miss Guided,” starred in the show “Zoey 101,” voiced a character in the movie “Unstable Fables: The Goldilocks and the 3 Bears Show,” stars in the show “Sweet Magnolias,” starred in the movie “Zoey 102,” was at the Kids’ Choice Awards several times, was on an episode of “Late Show with David Letterman,” was on an episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” was on five episodes of “Live with Regis and Kelly,” was on two episodes of “Today,” one of which she was a musical guest, was a guest co-hostess on an episode of “The Talk,” was a presenter and performer at the Radio Disney Music Awards one year, was on an episode of the reboot of “Double Dare,” was on an episode of the podcast “Call Her Daddy,” was on an episode of the podcast “Better Tomorrow with Hannah Brown,” was on four episodes of “Good Morning America,” one of which she was a musical guest, was a contestant on the show “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here,” and was a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars.” She also has experience working with Fox, as she was a contestant on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” which could increase her chances of being on the show. She has also been guessed before, as Nicole guessed her to be The Ladybug in Season 2, which makes it even more likely that she will be a contestant. She also has a great singing voice that is perfect for many country songs, and if she picks the right ones, she could be on the show for a while. I can see her going for songs like “Before he Cheats” by Carrie Underwood, “Not Ready to Make Nice” by The Chicks, and “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack.
