Three Celebrities Who Should Be On The Show
We have come up with three more celebrities that we feel would be perfect for The Masked Singer! As always, we hope you agree with who we think should do the show and why they would be great.
The first celebrity that we feel would be great for the show is Adam Ant. The show has not had any British new wave artists from the 1980s yet, and we feel that he would be the perfect singer to represent this category. He also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as almost all his albums landed high on the charts in the UK, one was certified silver, five were certified gold, and two were certified Platinum, and in America, two of his albums were certified gold. A lot of his singles also landed high on the charts in the UK, four of them were certified silver, four were certified gold, and one was certified Platinum in Australia. He has also won a Q Award for Q Icon, won two Ivor Novello Awards, won a BRIT Award for Best British Album, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he guest starred on an episode of the show “Amazing Stories,” was on an episode of the show “Sledge Hammer,” appeared in the TV movie “Out of Time,” appeared in the movie “Trust Me,” was on an episode of the show “My Talk Show,” guest starred on an episode of the show “Tales from the Crypt,” guest starred on an episode of “Batman: The Animated Series,” was in the movie “Drop Dead Rock,” was in the movie “Lover’s Knot,” guest starred on an episode of “The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries,” was a musical guest on “Saturday Night Live,” was on three episodes of “American Bandstand,” was part of “Disneyland’s Summer Vacation Party,” was a musical guest on “Late Night with David Letterman,” was on an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and was a musical guest on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” All these appearances in shows and movies that he has made could increase his chances of being a contestant on the show. He also has a great singing voice that would lend itself well to several rock and new wave songs, and if he picks the right ones, he could go far in the show. We can see him going for songs like “Rebel Rebel” by David Bowie, “Should I Stay or Should I Go” by The Clash, and “I Melt with You” by Modern English. When he gets unmasked, it would be great to hear him sing his song “Stand and Deliver.”
The second celebrity that we feel would be perfect for the show is actress and singer Tatyana Ali. She is another celebrity that is known primarily for her work in TV, but she is also a talented singer who has put out an album and two extended plays, which makes her perfect for the show. She also has several accolades that the show loves to have, as her album landed at 47 on the R&B charts in America and at 6 on the R&B charts in the UK and one of the singles on that album was certified gold. She has also been nominated for a Kids Choice Award, been nominated for five Young Artist Awards with one win, been nominated for eight NAACP Image Awards with three wins, and is the recipient of a Living Legacy Award from the Caribbean Heritage Organization. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she is best known for starring on the show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” was on twelve episodes of “Sesame Street,” starred on the show “Love That Girl,” guest starred on an episode of “Key and Peele,” was on two episodes of the show “Zoe Ever After,” was on an episode of the show “Hollywood Darlings,” has been in several Christmas TV movies, was in eight episodes of the Disney Junior show “Fancy Nancy,” appeared in “Eddie Murphy: Raw,” has been a guest at several award shows, was on two episodes of “Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego,” was on two episodes of a talk show hosted by Vicki Lawrence, was a musical guest on “All That,” has been a guest on several late night and daytime talk shows, was a contestant on an episode of the game show “The Chase,” was a guest on two episodes of the Hallmark show “Home & Family,” was a contestant on “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” and was a contestant on “RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race.” She also has experience working with Fox, as she guest starred on an episode of “Living Single,” which could increase her chances of being a contestant. She has also been guessed before, as guest panelist Jason Biggs thought she was the Kangaroo in Season 3, which increases her chances of being on the show even more. She also has a great singing voice for many R&B songs, and if she picks the right ones, she will go far in the show. We can see her going for songs like “Un-Break My Heart” by Toni Braxton, “Say My Name” by Destiny’s Child, and “The Boy Is Mine” by Brandy and Monica. When she gets unmasked, it would be great to hear her sing her song “Daydreamin’.”
The third celebrity that we feel would be perfect for the show is Scott Stapp from Creed. As we have said before, the show has had very few rock singers during its first ten seasons, and even less that got their start during the late 90s and early 2000s and combine that with the fact that Creed is reuniting for a big tour this summer, that makes him the perfect contestant for the show. He also has several accolades that the show loves to have, as almost all his albums with Creed landed high on the charts, one was certified 2x Platinum, two were certified 6x Platinum, and one was certified 11x Platinum, and most of their singles also landed high on the alternative and mainstream rock charts, one of which was certified gold, and another one was certified 2x Platinum, and his first solo album was certified Platinum. He has also been nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards, seven American Music Awards with four wins, and three Grammy Awards with one win. He also has experience taking part in fun shows, as he was on an episode of the show “Yo Awesome Awesome,” was the subject of an episode of “Behind the Music,” was a musical guest on “Saturday Night Live,” was on an episode of “Celebrity Poker Showdown,” was on the miniseries “I Love the 90s,” was on an episode of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” was on an episode of “Live with Regis and Kelly,” was a musical guest on three episodes of “Big Morning Buzz Live,” was a guest on “AXS Live,” and was on an episode of the show “The Power Hour.” He also has experience working with Fox, as he was a guest on an episode of “Mad TV,” and has been a musical guest on “Fox & Friends,” which could increase his chances of being a contestant on the show. He also has a great singing voice that the website Singing Carrots describes as having the ability to deliver high, soaring vocals that pack a punch, using a mix of chest and head voice, using his chest voice to produce full-bodied lower notes and his head voice to hit powerful high notes, and using a technique called compression when he sings higher notes to create a more focused and powerful sound. These vocal qualities could help him go far in the show. We can see him going for songs like “How You Remind Me” by Nickelback, “Hanging by a Moment” by Lifehouse, and “When I’m Gone” by 3 Doors Down. When he gets unmasked, it would be great to hear him sing his song “With Arms Wide Open.”
We hope you enjoyed reading this blog post, and we’ll see you again soon with another one!
