Three More Celebrities Who Should Do The Masked Singer

We have come up with three more celebrities that we feel would be perfect for the show! As always, we hope that you agree with who we think would be great for the show.

The first celebrity that we feel would be perfect for the show is actor Billy Bob Thornton. While we understand that this one might be a long shot compared to other names we have said in the past, we have reasoning for why we chose him. He has done a lot of singing in his career, even going on tour with his band several times in the last several years, and he would be the perfect celebrity that is not known primarily for singing to have as a contestant. He also has a ton of accolades that the show loves to have, as he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, been nominated for a Teen Choice Award, been nominated for four Screen Actors Guild Awards, been nominated for six Golden Globe Awards with two wins, been nominated for a Daytime and Primetime Emmy Award, won a Critics Choice Award, and been nominated for three Academy Awards with one win. Even though some people probably know him best for his dramatic roles, he also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he guest starred on “King of the Hill,” which aired on Fox, guest starred on the show “CatDog,” starred in comedy movies like “Bad News Bears” and “School for Scoundrels,” voiced a character in “Puss in Boots,” and guest starred on episodes of “Robot Chicken,” “American Dad,” and “Harley Quinn.” There are two comedic projects that he has taken on that we feel demonstrate why he would be perfect for the show. One is the movie “Bad Santa,” which he agreed to star in after his manager sent the script to him saying “Wait until you read this script. I’ve never seen anything like this,” and when he got through a third of the script, that was when he knew he had to star in it. The other project is a guest star role on “The Big Bang Theory,” which originated from an interview where he talked about how he loved the show so much that there are times where he got so into it that he “started talking to the characters on the screen.” The character that he ultimately played was a socially awkward doctor who falls for sales flirtation tactics, and both Billy and his team thought the role seemed “fun and cool.” This shows that he is willing to take part in fun shows and movies and play characters that are strange and awkward. He also has a band called The Boxmasters, and he has gone on tour with them several times, performing at many venues around the country, so he has plenty of experience with singing. He has also been guessed by the panelists before, which could increase his chances of doing the show. He also has a great singing voice for southern rock songs, which could help him stay in the competition for several episodes. We can see him going for songs like “Hurts So Good” by John Mellencamp, “Suspicious Minds” by Elvis Presley, and “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown” by Jim Croce.

The second celebrity that we feel would be perfect for the show is singer Taylor Hicks. He won the fifth season of “American Idol,” and hasn’t done much since, which is a shame because he is a great singer that more people should know about. He also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as he has a Platinum album that reached 2 on the charts, an album that reached 5 on the indie charts, a single that reached 1 on the charts, and three more singles that landed high on the adult contemporary charts. He was also featured on a Grammy winning album, as he was one of the singers that was part of a comedy album that Jimmy Fallon did. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he appeared in a comedy short called “Upstream with Jimmy Dallas,” appeared in a comedy drama film called “Stars Fell on Alabama,” appeared on the show “Celebrity Ghost Stories,” was a guest diner on an episode of “Hell’s Kitchen,” was a guest at the Hollywood Christmas Parade, was on five episodes of the Hallmark show “Home & Family,” and has appeared on several other major late night and daytime talk shows, the most recent being “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” where he sat in with her band for an episode. He is also part of the Fox family, as he was the winner of Season 5 of “American Idol,” and the show has already had several past contestants from that show, and he would be a perfect singer to represent this category. He was also a contestant on a Fox show called “The Choice.” He is also familiar with The Masked Singer, as he was one of the celebrities that was unmasked during the tour that happened in summer 2022, which could make him want to do the actual show, and it would be interesting to see if he could win two Fox singing competitions. Like many other past contestants on the show, he has also done some stage work, as he played the role of Teen Angel in a Broadway production of “Grease” and a touring production, and he played Charlie Anderson in a production of “Shenandoah.” He also has a great singing voice, as the website Singing Carrots says that his voice has a powerful rasp and the ability to hold long notes, which could help him go far in the competition and possibly win. We can see him going for songs like “Turn the Page” by Bob Seger, “I Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty, and “The Riddle” by Five for Fighting. When he gets unmasked, it would be great to hear him sing his song “Do I Make You Proud.”

The third celebrity that we feel would be perfect for the show is singer Rebecca Black. Most people know her for her infamous song “Friday,” but what they don’t know is that she has continued to release music and has also grown as a singer. She also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as she has three songs that charted high on the heatseekers charts and the dance club charts, won a Teen Choice Award, and was nominated for a Libera Award for Self-Released Record of the Year. She also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as she voiced a character in a movie called “Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit,” guest starred on the comedy show “Hacking High School,” guest starred on a comedy show called “MK Ultra,” guest starred on the sketch comedy show “Betch,” appeared in a comedy movie called “American Reject,” starred in a comedy short called “Okay Google,” appeared on an episode of “Tosh.0,” and was a guest judge on an episode of “Is It Cake.” She also has experience being part of the Fox family, as she was on an episode of the competition show “The Four: Battle for Stardom,” so this might influence her to want to take part in another competition show like The Masked Singer. She has also been guessed before by Nicole in Season 3, so this might increase her chances of being on the show even more. Being on the show would be a great way for her to show everybody who made fun of her for her song “Friday” how much she has grown as a singer, much like how T Pain used the show to prove that he didn’t need autotune to sound good. We think that she has a great singing voice, and from listening to her recent songs, we think that she could go far in the show and possibly even win. We can see her going for songs like “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus, “Houdini” by Dua Lipa, and “Everything I Wanted” by Billie Eilish. When she gets unmasked, it would be great to see her sing one of her new songs like “Sick to My Stomach.”

We hope you enjoyed reading this post, and we'll see you soon with another one!
