Three Celebrities Who Should Do The Show

We have come up with three more celebrities that we feel would be great contestants for The Masked Singer! As always, we hope you will agree with who we think should do it and the reasoning as to why.

The first celebrity that we think should do it is actor and comedian Denis Leary. While this might seem like a random choice, we have a good reason for why he should do it. He has done some singing as part of his comedy, and his voice is actually very good. What he is singing is typically very offensive, but he puts as much effort into it as any other singer would with their performance. The show has already had several comedians that you had no idea were as good as they are at singing, so Denis Leary would be another great person to add to that category. He also has several accolades that the show loves, as he has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award and three Emmy Awards. He also has experience being part of the Fox network, as he starred on the show “The Moodys” in 2019 and 2021. He also did a song on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” back in 2016, and his voice still sounded very good. When he performs on the show, we could see him going for rock songs like “My Generation” by The Who or “Takin’ Care of Business” by Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Songs like these could help him stick around on the show for a while.

The second celebrity that we think is perfect for the show is a duo, pop rock singers Aly & AJ. They are both very talented singers and would be a great choice to have as group contestants on the show. They were also on Disney Channel when they were younger, so they would be great choices for a category of contestants the show hasn’t had that many of. They have also received a few accolades that the show loves through their career. They have won an American Music Award, they have a gold album, another album that reached 15 on the charts, a single that is certified gold and reached 17 on the charts, and they now have their own record label that they have released several albums and EPs through. They also have experience taking part in fun game shows, as they were both on an episode of “Celebrity Family Feud.” They have gone on several tours in recent years, so they are comfortable performing on a stage. They also have perfect harmonizing voices that are described as having a strong belting technique, which could help them get very far in the competition, or even be the first group contestants to win. We could see them singing rock songs like “Cherry Bomb” by The Runaways, “Just a Girl” by No Doubt, or “Misery Business” by Paramore. We can also see them possibly going for a different genre, as one of their most recent songs has a country sound to it, so maybe they could go for “Soak Up the Sun” by Sheryl Crow. When they get unmasked, it would be great to hear them sing “Potential Breakup Song.”

The third celebrity that we think would be perfect for the show is Travie McCoy from the group Gym Class Heroes. He is a rapper, but he is different from the other rappers that the show has had before. His group, Gym Class Heroes, is a rap rock group that also takes influences from funk and reggae. This range of music that his songs fall under could lead to a range of different types of songs he performs on the show. He also has several accolades in his career that the show loves. He has two MTV VMA nominations with one win, three Teen Choice Awards nominations, a gold album that landed at 25 on the charts, a single that landed at 4 on the charts and was certified 4x Platinum, being a featured artist on a single that was certified Platinum, and Gym Class Heroes has a gold album, a single that was certified 3x Platinum and reached 4 on the charts, another single that was certified 5x Platinum and reached 4 on the charts, and two more Platinum singles that reached 12 and 25 on the charts respectively. He also has experience taking part in fun shows, as he was recently on an episode of the show “Ridiculousness,” and an episode of the show “Wild ‘n Out” hosted by Nick Cannon. Gym Class Heroes also went on tour a few months ago, so he still enjoys being on the stage. His singing style is also unique, as his range can go from low to high notes, and he can keep his signature flow and rhythm. This could help him stand out as a contestant and go far in the competition and possibly win. We could see him going for songs like what he already sings, such as “Rude” by Magic! or “Ride” by Twenty-One Pilots. He could also show his range and go for the Big Mountain version of “Baby, I Love Your Way.” When he gets unmasked, it would be great to hear him sing his song “Cupid’s Chokehold.”

We hope you agree with who we have said! As always let us know who you think should do the show, and we’ll see you again with another post!
