Rob Schneider - Hamster



One of the most memorable contestants of Season 6 was the Hamster, who was revealed to be actor and comedian Rob Schneider. He is among the many contestants who are not known for being singers that is actually very good at singing. He started it off with a performance of “Oh, Pretty Woman” where he sounded very similar to Roy Orbison. Then he performed “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen, which he sang in a perfect Elvis impersonation. His last performance was “Sabor a Mi” by Luis Miguel, which is notable for being one of two performances in the entire show to be in another language. What also made him stand out was how much he would mess with host Nick Cannon after each performance.

If you enjoyed him from the show, you might want to see some of his upcoming comedy shows, as he is currently on a tour that is bringing him all around the country. The first show he has scheduled is on October 20 at the Lerner Theatre in Elkhart, Indiana. His next show will be the very next day, October 21, at the Downstream Casino Resort in Quapaw, Oklahoma.

He will then have four shows over the course of two days at Blue Note Hawaii in Honolulu. The first two shows will be on October 30, with the first one at 6:30 and the second one at 9:00. The third and fourth shows will be on October 31 at the same times of 6:30 and 9:00. A few days later, he will have two shows at the University of Guam, with the first one on November 3 and the second one on November 4.

After that, he will take a short break before starting up again on November 11 with a show at M Resort Spa Casino in Henderson, Nevada. He will then take a longer break after that, before returning to the stage on December 2 with a show at Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in Hanover, Pennsylvania. He will then have another show a few days later, December 8 at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia. His next show after that will be the following day, December 9, at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall at FSW in Fort Myers, Florida.

He already has four shows scheduled for 2024. The first show will be on January 12 at the Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center in El Paso, Texas. The second show will be on January 20 at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada. The third show will be on January 26 at Empire Plaza in San Antonio, Texas. The fourth show will be the following day, January 27, at Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix.

While this might seem like a random choice, we have a good reason for why he should do it. He has done some singing as part of his comedy, and his voice is actually very good. What he is singing is typically very offensive, but he puts as much effort into it as any other singer would with their performance. The show has already had several comedians that you had no idea were as good as they are at singing, so Denis Leary would be another great person to add to that category.
