LeAnn Rimes - The Sun



One of the most memorable winners of The Masked Singer is the Sun from Season 4, who was revealed to be country and pop singer LeAnn Rimes. Her many standout moments on the show include how she kicked the season off with an incredible performance of “Cuz I Love You” by Lizzo, and her beautiful acapella performance of “When the Party’s Over” by Billie Eilish. These performances and many others have caused many fans to consider her one of the best contestants the show has ever had. 

If you enjoyed hearing her sing on the show and would like to hear her again, she is currently going on tour. She has two shows in Iowa today, September 29, and tomorrow, September 30. The first one is in Riverside, and the second one is in Cedar Falls. After that, she will be taking a short break before starting back up again in October. Her next show will be at the Belcher Center in Longview, Texas on October 13, and then she has another show the next day at Downtown Square in Garland, Texas. Then, she takes another short break before having four shows in the Midwest. Her first Midwest show is on October 20 and is at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, Illinois. The second show is the next day, October 21 and is at the Long Center for Performing Arts in Lafayette, Indiana. The third show is the day after that, October 22 and is at the Brown County Music Center in Nashville, Indiana. Her fourth Midwest show is five days later on October 27 at the Capitol Theatre in Flint, Michigan.

After that, she will be heading to the Northeast for four shows. Her first Northeast show is on October 27 at the Seneca Allegany Events Center in Salamanca, New York. She will be taking another break after this show, before starting up again on November 16 at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, CT. Her third Northeast show is the next day, November 17 at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, New Jersey. Her final Northeast show is the day after that, November 18 at the Staller Center in Stony Brook, New York. 

Once that is over, she will begin a holiday tour that will last for the month of December. This tour will take her to Arizona, Mississippi, Tennessee, Ohio, Las Vegas, South Carolina, and Florida.

As always, we hope you will agree with who we think should do it and the reasoning as to why. The first celebrity that we think should do it is actor and comedian Denis Leary. While this might seem like a random choice, we have a good reason for why he should do it. He has done some singing as part of his comedy, and his voice is actually very good. What he is singing is typically very offensive, but he puts as much effort into it as any other singer would with their performance. The show has already had several comedians that you had no idea were as good as they are at singing, so Denis Leary would be another great person to add to that category. He also has several accolades that the show loves, as he has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award and three Emmy Awards.
