After two amazing episodes to start off the season, it was time for the Group A Finals with Rat Pack Tribute Night! I was looking forward to this episode, as all the other episodes the show has done in the past dedicated to specific artists have all been great, so I felt that this would be no exception. I also knew that we were going to get three amazing performances, as all three contestants in this episode were amazing in the first two episodes, which made it hard for me to have an early guess as to who would be unmasked.  The episode started off in a unique way, as typically, most episodes in the recent seasons start off with a performance from the panelists or a guest singer, or a group performance from the remaining contestants in the group. After an amazing Season 13 Premiere last week, it was time for the first theme night of the season, which was Shrek Night! I was looking forward to this episode for several reasons, such as the fact that all four performers were very good, so I knew we would get four great performances, and I feel that one of the best parts of the “Shrek” movies is its soundtrack, so there are many great songs to choose from.  The episode opened with a group performance from all four panelists, who performed the most famous song from the movies, “All Star” by Smash Mouth. I always enjoy these performances from the panel, as it always seems like they are having so much fun, and they went to so much trouble to try to recreate the movies that they started off with Ken beginning his performance by exiting the outhouse like Shrek did in the movie, and the other three panelists did the same thing as well. After two months that felt like they would never end, it was finally time for the premiere of Season 13 of The Masked Singer! I had been looking forward to this a lot, as the trailers had shown a lot of potential, the snippets of performances in the trailers sounded great, the theme nights sounded great, and the costumes looked great as well. It seemed like the show was firing on all cylinders, and after watching this episode, I can safely say that it was!
The episode started off in an entertaining way, as it showed the panelists getting on an elevator that kept on making stops at every floor, with each floor letting on a contestant that won the season of the same number. By the time they got to the thirteenth floor, Nick Cannon, all four panelists, and all twelve past winners entered the stage. I have come up with three more celebrities that would be perfect for The Masked Singer! As always, I hope that you agree with who I think should do the show and why they would be great for it. The first celebrity that I feel would be perfect for the show is Broadway star Christopher Jackson. The show has only had one celebrity known for their work on Broadway as a contestant with Cheyenne Jackson in Season 7, and I feel that he would be a great addition to this category. He also has a few accolades that the show loves to have, as he has been nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards with one win, nominated for a Tony Award, and won a Grammy Award. He also has experience taking part in fun shows and movies, as he appeared in an episode of the show “Nurse Jackie,” appeared in an episode of the show “White Collar,” provided the singing voice for a character in “Moana,” voiced a character in two episodes of the show “The Lion Guard,” voiced a character in an episode of the show “Vampirina,” ...
