Celebrities Who Should Do The Show

Typically, what is posted to this blog is celebrities who have done The Masked Singer and where you can see them while they’re on tour. Today, we are going to talk about something a little different. We are going to be doing a series of posts about celebrities who should do The Masked Singer. Each post will contain three celebrities, explaining why they would be ideal for the show.

The first celebrity that we feel would be perfect for the show is Corbin Bleu from “High School Musical.” He has a lot of experience with singing, as he not only sang in “High School Musical,” he also sang in the movie “Jump In,” and has put out two albums and been on the soundtrack for six movies. He also knows how to be entertaining, as he has been in thirteen theater shows since 2010, and possibly a few others. He also has good dancing skills, as he was on “Dancing with the Stars” ten years ago and was runner-up and was on a show last year called “The Real Dirty Dancing,” which he won.

The second celebrity that we feel would be perfect for the show is Rachel Platten. She is a pop singer that was popular for a period of time in the 2010s, which is a category that we feel a lot of past contestants fall under. She has also been a guest on “I Can See Your Voice,” which is another Fox show, and they have shown that they like getting celebrities who have been on other shows on their network. She also has a great voice, so she would go far in the competition or even win. Also, since unmasked contestants now get to sing the songs they are famous for, it would be great to hear her sing “Fight Song.”

The third celebrity that we feel would be perfect for the show is Barry Bostwick. He is an actor best known for starring in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” one of the biggest cult films of all time, and the hit sitcom “Spin City.” Before he took these roles, he released some albums and songs, one of which was a minor Billboard hit single. Then, he had some roles on Broadway, including playing the original Danny Zuko in “Grease,” which got him a Tony Award nomination. Even though he is now 78 years old, he still has a ton of energy. He still participates in many fan conventions to this day, and he makes special guest appearances at Rocky Horror Picture Show screenings in the month of October. Somebody also recorded a video of him singing at a show in 2019, and his voice still sounds good.

Stay tuned for more blog posts to see who else we would like to see on The Masked Singer!
